In this month’s Microsoft Excel webcast class, you’ll learn "How to Use Date Math and Functions to Solve Practical Business Problems in Excel."

  • Since a date is a number, you can do math with it. (Ah Ha!)  
  • By mastering date math and functions, you can simplify many common tasks.
  • Real-world examples will be used to help you grasp the core concept:

Solving problems with Date Math:

  • How to build a trip budget template – calculate per diems, etc. based on # of days
  • How to build a project management plan that auto generates dates, duration and costs
  • How to build calendars for a variety of purposes
  • Solving problems with Date Functions

How to understand basic date function syntax:

  • How to build an amortization table, and a timesheet
  • How to calculate a person’s precise age and specific date occurrences (e.g. the first Wednesday of every month)
