Adonix Inc. announced today that it is changing its name to Brittenford Systems.
“We wanted a more contemporary name that reflects our core mission – delivering first-class systems for accounting, budgeting and forecasting, and business intelligence,” said Michael Mahoney, CPA and CEO of Brittenford Systems. “The only things changing are our name, logo, web and email addresses. Our team, location and phone contact information, and our dedication as a partner for Microsoft, Blackbaud, and Applix remain the same.”
Some of the firm’s notable accolades include earning a spot in the Inc. 500 in 2003, being named a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner in 2005, and being listed in the Accounting Technology VAR 100 in 2005. Brittenford Systems 2005 revenues are projected at $4.5M, an annual growth rate of over 50%.
“We ‘Britts,’ as we call ourselves, are proud of our culture,” continued Mahoney. “We value these things above all: delighting clients by exceeding expectations, team work (“all for one and one for all”), thinking and talking straight, finding creative solutions in a timely fashion, and practicing continuous learning and self-improvement. We measure ourselves by these standards, and we encourage our clients to measure us in the same way.”
“We at Brittenford Systems continue to differentiate ourselves in positive ways. For example, our commitment to our core value around continuous self-improvement has resulted in a major investment to become the only Microsoft Certified Professional Learning Center for MBS products in the Washington metro area. This enables us to enhance the skills of area end users and to other resellers looking to improve their skills. Also, our financial stability is underscored by the unusual fact that we own the “Class A” building that is our office in Reston, Virginia. We continue to reinvest heavily in our business to improve our ability to support our clients.”
