Adonix, Inc., one of the Washington DC area’s top suppliers of accounting systems, budgeting and forecasting, business intelligence, and customer relationship management solutions, announced that its customer Cyveillance is featured in the list of new Applix clients this quarter. Adonix has been a top Applix reseller since 1997.
Applix also announced that it signed new customer agreements with Blockbuster Entertainment, Sumitomo Metal Industries, and dozens of other organizations during the first two months of its second fiscal quarter, 2003.
“Our analytics products continue to grow in popularity as organizations realize the multiple benefits TM1 can provide companies that are carefully watching every dollar,” said David Mahoney, chief executive officer of Applix. “Our customers and our channel partners, such as Adonix, are our most vocal advocates. We’re extremely pleased with Applix’s channel partners’ continued drive to educate potential customers on how TM1 provides unparalleled insight into an organization’s financials and operations.”
The flexibility of TM1, the world’s best performing business intelligence analytical engine, allows customers to quickly and easily capture and process financial and business data. This results in the ability to make business decisions in real time, not having to wait for weekly or even daily reports from multiple departments within a company.
One of the new customers mentioned at the head of the press release is an Adonix customer. Cyveillance, based in Arlington, VA, is using TM1 for reporting, budgeting, and analysis of non-financial data. Phil Balsamo, chief financial officer, said he is expecting an immediate return on investment.
“I’ve worked with TM1 and Adonix at my previous two companies and was emphatic that we use Applix’s analytics solutions at Cyveillance,” said Balsamo. “The ease-of-use and ability to digest data from legacy ERP systems extend the lives of our current software investments and provide an immediate ROI.”
Michael Mahoney, Adonix President and CEO, said Balsamo’s experiences are not uncommon. “Once a CFO, controller, or finance professional starts using TM1, they want to use it throughout their organization and everywhere they go. They have found that TM1 and Adonix world-class professional services help them more efficiently budget and forecast, identify new business opportunities, and maintain financial control as they grow.”
Applix continues to capitalize on the demand for its analytics solutions, a momentum that has been building for the last 12 months. A large part of the company’s newest success stems from the strong relationships built with existing customers. In fact, Wayne Eckerson, director of research for the Data Warehousing Institute, noted Applix’s relationship with its customers in an article published in the Boston Business Journal on June 13, 2003 by stating that Applix has “some very happy and loyal customers.”
Applix’s new customers include: Alain Afflelou SA, Anagram International, Austrade, Blockbuster Entertainment, British Council, Calvert Investments (an Adonix client), Dai Nippon Printing, Filter Sales Australia, Flemming Zentrale, General Trailers, Hansells New Zealand, Harvey Pennington, Henkel Singapore, Intraplan Consulting, Jordans Ltd., Kenwood, LoanCity.com, Martin Professional, Methanova, Morinaga & Co., Namie Town, Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha, Robert Horne Paper, Sumitomo Metal Industries, Wesfarmers Landmark, Wickliffe Ltd., Wilco International, and Zurich Insurance.
