It’s that time of year again. Year-end closing time. For project-based businesses, government contractors, and others using Microsoft Dynamics SL, this time of year is, like always, awash with activity. Whether this is your first time closing the books, or you’re a seasoned professional looking for a few tips, tricks, or trade secrets on how to get the job done better, we would like to today discuss some of the challenges and invite you to join us for a December 6 webcast to learn more.
Closing the Year
While it would be obvious to say that closing out the year is much more complex than your average month-end closing procedure, it’s true—year-end closes present challenges and complexities you need to tackle as so much resets for the year ahead. But fear not, SL does a lot of the heavy lifting, and you have the ability to close on your schedule—closing certain modules before others (with the exception of GL).
As you approach closing time, we’d like to present some tips and tricks to ensure that your close goes smoothly (which you can view by clicking the previous link). However, for even more, we recommend you attend the upcoming Microsoft Dynamics SL Year End processing webinar, presented by Plumbline Consulting, scheduled for December 6, 2017 at 2:00 PM ET.
