Imagine that the next time you login to Dynamics SL, you have easy access to your frequently used:
- internet websites, and
- other software applications.
It’s possible, and easy to do. Dynamics SL offers a simple way to quickly organize your work – the “Favorites” area of your Dynamics SL home pane.
Right click on any report or screen and then select “Add to Favorites.” The next time you start up Dynamics SL, every item you added will be on the home pane for easy access. This is particularly handy for those who use several screens and reports from several different modules.
To add a favorite screen or report:
In the application pane, right-click the name of the screen or report that you want to add (for example: Journal Transaction entry screen), and then click Add Screen to Favorites.

To add an external application
to your Favorites:
On the Tools menu, click Add External Link to Favorites.
In the Add External Application dialog box, browse to the application you want to add, click the file to select it, and then click Open.
To add an Internet site to your Favorites:
On the Tools menu, click Add URL to Favorites as seen in the image below.

- Clicking Select existing URL, and then select a Web address from the list
- Clicking Enter URL, and then type the full Web address in the box (for example: http://brittenford.staging.wpengine.com )

to your Favorites:
On the Tools menu, click Add Page to Favorites to add the page that currently appears in your application pane.
Once you have favorites on your Favorite screen you can double-click to open an item. Or right-click on any entry to access a menu that gives you the ability to:
- Change the entry’s position on the list by moving it up or down.
- Delete the entry.
- View and edit the entry’s properties.
Open the entry.
