Intacct Regional Meetups: When, Where, and Why

Intacct Regional Meetups: When, Where, and Why

Are you a current Intacct Customer, or are you otherwise interested in learning more about cloud accounting best practices? If so, it is vital for you to attend an Intacct meetup to learn more about making the most out of your move to the cloud, including best practices on finding and leveraging tools to enhance Intacct software, new tactics to grow your business, and more.

So, what is an Intacct Meetup and why should you attend? We look into these events, held in various locations across the United States, and offer five good reasons you should attend.

What Are Intacct Meetups?

Intacct meetups are regional events hosted by Intacct to teach customers and prospects about the cloud. At these events, attendees will learn from other Intacct customers as they share their experiences and best practices. These free lunch-time events (lunch provided) are designed to foster collaboration so you can get the most out of Intacct.

These events will feature insights from Intacct representatives and partners who will answer questions and demonstrate the latest product enhancements. Events include customer panels, Q&A sessions, peer-to-peer networking activities, and updates from Intacct Product Management. Better yet, some events will feature in-depth training for attendees so that users can better leverage Intacct software for accuracy and insight during periods of growth.

Why Attend an Intacct Regional Meetup?

A recent Intacct blog discusses the top five reasons to attend regional meetup:

1. Meet and network with local customers, prospects, and partners

This is one of the biggest reasons to attend a meetup. I was able to reconnect with my old team from Dude Solutions, meet customers and learn about their experiences with Intacct, and hear about offerings and integrations from Intacct partners. There’s no better way to connect with the Intacct community than in person!

2. Learn about new features in the quarterly releases and product roadmap

Linda Pinion, Sales Engineer extraordinaire at Intacct, always dives into new release features and upcoming enhancements on their product roadmap. It’s a great way to stay informed of new enhancements that can improve your accounting processes – including a new user interface and custom report writer. I can’t wait to use both!

3. Hear a detailed customer story

Every meetup includes a fireside chat with a featured customer. This is a fantastic opportunity to hear firsthand how a fellow customer implemented Intacct; utilizes dashboards, reporting, and other modules based on their needs; and Tips & Tricks they’ve discovered along the way. I have been able to apply many ideas just from hearing about their experiences.

4. Attend additional training sessions

Some meetups include additional training sessions. The Raleigh meetup featured 30-minute sessions on using Dashboards and Intacct Collaborate. What a great way to get free hands-on training!

5. Win free stuff!

Last but not least, Intacct and attending partners raffle off some really cool stuff! Attending the event automatically enters you into a drawing for a free conference pass to Intacct Advantage, a free training session hosted by Intacct, and gift cards and other goodies from participating partners. I was lucky enough to win a Lenovo laptop from Avalara!
