One common cause that I’ve noticed for slow performance on a Microsoft Dynamics SL 7.0 workstation is the Internet Explorer Settings to check certificate revocation.
Here are the steps to check these settings in Internet Explorer:
Open Internet Explorer and go to the Tools Tab and select Internet Options.
Then select the Advanced tab and check under the Security section to make sure that “Check for publisher’s certificate revocation” and “Check for server certificate revocation” are both NOT checked. If they are checked, uncheck these two options and click on the Apply button, then click the OK box.
If performance doesn’t improve after trying this there are other potential solutions that you can try.
