A new feature I like in Microsoft Dynamics SL 7.0 FP1 is the ability to sort information, in ascending or descending order, in several read-only inquiry screens.
I’ve provided a full list of the affected screens at the end of this blog post, but first, I’ll explain the feature.
Look for ‘Click on a column heading to sort by that field’ above the grid. If the screen is sortable, click on the column you want to sort and you will see your data displayed in the order you select on the grid view column you select.
Below is the Document Maintenance screen (08.250.00) with the data sorted by Subaccount. This was done by simply clicking on the header ‘Sub.’
Data displayed can just as easily be sorted by any other field.
