Late last month, our parent company, Wipfli LLP announced its newest class of partners, adding 13 associates who have ascended the ranks to become partners at the 22nd largest accounting firm in the United States. Among the thirteen new partners in the class of 2017, two came from our Reston office (formerly Brittenford Systems), bringing the total number of partners to 219.
Ryan Risley and Matt Rowley Named Wipfli Partner
The two new partners from the Reston office—Ryan Risley and Matt Rowley—are the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer at the Reston office, respectively, and can now add the title Wipfli Partner to their business cards.

Meet Wipfli Partner Ryan Risley
Ryan leads our CIO Advisory Services Practice where he partners with our clients’ CEO’s and CFO’s to help IT divisions align with business. His extensive experience and holistic approach helps demystify IT helping leadership make better decisions. Ryan also oversees all of our IT systems with the mission of empowering our consultants to deliver the highest quality service to our clients.
Ryan earned his Bachelors in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Chemistry and honors in Biology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Masters of Science in Information Systems Technology with a concentration in Data Warehousing. He also earned a Chief Information Officer Executive Certificate from George Washington University.
Meet Wipfli Partner Matt Rowley
As Chief Operating Officer, Matt is responsible for professional services, client delivery, and product development. His focus is to develop and maintain superior client relationships through excellent solution delivery, while driving growth of the firm. Matt has extensive experience in leading complex business and technology transformation implementations, including financial management, budgeting and reporting, and system integrations.
Matt received his Bachelors of Science in Integrated Science and Technology and an MBA from James Madison University and holds an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
