Independent schools have long been focused on helping children, promoting choice, and ultimately improving the education experience for everyone involved. With an undying focus on education and results, these schools are shaping the leaders of tomorrow by providing teachers the freedom to teach in a manner that best suits children, and giving parents the confidence that their children are receiving a good education, often at a better value than at traditional public schooling.
But as a business officer, you already know that. You are the one who’s around to make sure your school is running efficiently, ensuring measurable, positive results for the teachers, students, parents, donors, and more.
Wipfli LLP/Brittenford Systems is proud to support independent schools, and is happy to announce that we will be attending and exhibiting at the National Business Officer’s Association (NBOA) Annual Meeting, Scheduled for February 26-March 1, 2017 in Washington, DC.
NBOA Annual Meeting: February 26-March 1, 2017
Following last year’s movie-themed event in Los Angeles and 2015’s baseball-themed event in Boston, the 2017 NBOA Annual Event will focus on monumental change, identity, and evolution—mirroring this great nation’s experiences in 1791, a time in which President George Washington appointed Pierre Charles L’Enfant to design and build Washington DC as the Capitol.
From the NBOA Brochure:
In 1791, President George Washington appointed Pierre Charles L’Enfant to plan and design a federal city as the permanent seat of government. Over the decades, leaders wrestled over what should define the nation’s identity. How to add new memorials without losing the intentions of the past? How to achieve a harmonious coexistence of modernism and tradition? More than 225 years later, the city has adapted remarkably, yet the initial framework of L’Enfant’s plans remains intact.
Independent schools face similar pressures to adapt and evolve, and incremental change may not be rapid enough. How can your school’s business operations keep pace with student and family demands? How can your faculty stay current with advancing technology and 21st century learning styles? How can your school comply with new regulations? How will it stand out in an increasingly competitive marketplace? How can you transform your campus, steeped in tradition, and secure its financial future?
This is a time of monumental change for independent schools. Find the right solutions at the 2017 NBOA Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.
Speakers will include Sir Ken Robinson, Susan Cain, Scott C. Bauer, Ann-Marie Balzano and many other well-respected leaders in the independent school community. The event will also feature an exhibition in which you can meet with product and service providers looking to help you better manage your independent school. Learn more about the Annual Meeting Here.
