- Profiled in the April edition of
SmartCEO Magazine article, "A Bulletproof Process
for Hiring 'A' Players." This two-page article described in
depth our rigorous recruiting process.
- Featured in Fortune Small
Business magazine's "Owner to Owner" column. This
full-page article examined our executive hiring
process.
- Named for the second consecutive year
to the list of the nation's Top 100 accounting
systems resellers by Accounting Technology
magazine.
2005
- Achieved Microsoft Gold
Certified Partner status, placing the firm among the top
1% of Microsoft Dynamics partners.
- Named a Top 100 accounting
systems reseller in the nation by Accounting Technology
Magazine.
- Management Team
strengthened by addition of Francis J. Durante,
government contracting and software industry veteran, to manage the
Business Intelligence Systems practice group.
- Changed our name to
"Brittenford Systems." Same company, same people and
mission; new name.
2004
- Recognized by Microsoft CEO
Steve Ballmer at a Washington, DC user event for a
leading-edge integration of the Microsoft Project Management and
Accounting solution with Microsoft Project Server
- Relocated to our
present Class-A office space location in Reston,
Virginia.
- Launched the first Microsoft
Certified Learning Center for Microsoft Business Solutions
(now Microsoft Dynamics) in the mid-Atlantic.
- Awarded GSA schedule
to provide business intelligence consulting services to the federal
government.
- Won the "Microsoft
Spotlight Award" in recognition of creating tangible
business value through the implementation of a project-based
Solomon accounting system in a professional services government
contractor.
2003
- Recognized by Inc.
Magazine as one of the 500 fastest growing privately held
companies in the United States (the "Inc. 500") over the past five
years. Our firm was the only accounting systems reseller in the
country to make the Inc. 500.
- Expanded our client
base by over 25% in spite of an economic
downturn.
- Named Brian Dietz,
CPA, former industry CFO and PwC senior audit manager, to
head the Accounting Information Systems practice group.
2002
- Recorded our sixth consecutive
year of profitable growth and added over twenty five new
clients while maintaining our business focus.
2001
- Awarded a $1M
development contract over 32
other bidders. Contract was to
develop a worldwide budgeting, forecasting and reporting system for
the world's largest international development lender. The
Web-based system was successfully completed in 2002.
2000
- Opened a professional training
center to offer instructor-led, computer-based
training.
- Deployed our first entirely
Web-based, enterprise-wide budgeting system for a
project-based client.
1999
- Launched Great
Plains practice.
1998
- Expanded our domain knowledge to
budgeting, forecasting and business intelligence for project-based
organizations based on the Applix TM1 analytical database (OLAP)
engine.
1997
- Founded as "Adonix, Inc." on August 1
by Michael Mahoney, CPA, as an accounting systems reseller for
Solomon Software (now Microsoft Dynamics SL) with a focus on
project-driven and nonprofit organizations.
