A Learning Disability School Deploys Sage Intacct with Atrium Campus Card Management Application
Founded in 1967, Eagle Hill School educates students in grades 8-12 identified with learning (dis)abilities. Eighty full-time faculty members and nearly 50 staff members provide an intimate and encouraging community that honors the individual, values learning diversity, and cultivates international mindedness. Ninety percent of their 220 students live in the school’s classic New England boarding school environment, and virtually all Eagle Hill graduates matriculate to college.
Not only did Eagle Hill School’s legacy financial management software lack the capacity to bring the necessary digital functionality to the organization’s back-office or customer-facing processes, but the traditional vendors in the secondary education space didn’t offer adequate solutions. Eagle Hill School needed an open platform solution capable of automating their mission-critical processes, integrating their complex business systems, and providing a reporting environment that didn’t depend on exporting data to Excel for manipulation.
Wipfli was engaged to deploy Sage Intacct’s cloud-based financial management and accounting software, which provided the data management tools they needed to update their financials and keep them organized, reporting and dashboarding capabilities for real-time decision support, and a customizable open environment for syncing up with their other systems to deliver a truly exceptional parent and student experience.
Additionally, Wipfli developed a solution combining Sage Intacct with Atrium’s cloud-based Campus Card Management application, ending up with a real-time integrated web portal connecting Sage Intacct with Student Spending Account, Cash Dispensing and Student Store capabilities. They also configured their student information system, Blackbaud, to accommodate a simple, single sign-on for parents to access all of their account management tools. Jamex Vending was engaged in the project to engineer the Cash Kiosk students use to access money using their iPhone or iPad with a custom QR code.
Aside from ensuring Eagle Hill School has real-time visibility and transparency into their financial and statistical data, the implementation of Sage Intacct and its integration with other mission-critical applications enabled the organization to focus on providing exceptional parent and student experiences: arming parents with a modern, easily accessible way to pay and view the tuition and giving students access to student banking, consulting services, cash dispensing, and more.
